Sam and Max: Save The World Remastered

Sam and Max: Save the World has been out on Xbox 360 since 2006 when Telltale games published the series originally as Sam and Max season one. The one I’m reviewing today is an Xbox Series X version of the game that came out on August 10th 2021. It is a point-and-click adventure title spanning six episodes with all episodes tying into the main title of the game.

The main things I loved about this game are the quips Sam and max have with each other while playing the game and also how if you are trying to pick a certain person to talk to or item to look at and it’s not choosing the right one. You can always hold down the LB on the controller and it will show you all the things you can interact with in the game which is a big help.

The things I didn’t care so much for though is that some puzzles in the game seemed to make you have to look at a guide to know what to do otherwise you just walk back and forth confused. By far the best part of the game is the comedy and you can tell the formula Telltale used in their games is evident in this one. If you love point-and-click adventures I highly recommend this game cause I had fun playing it.
